We're passionate about art.

Opened in 2013 in Regina’s Heritage neighbourhood, Slate Fine Art Gallery has 2,000 square feet of exhibition space – a main gallery for feature shows, a smaller area to showcase emerging talent.

Owners Gina Fafard and Kimberley Fyfe are available for consultation to new and experienced buyers and can assist with the acquisition and investment of artworks for private, corporate and public collections and quality framing services.

KIMBERLEY FYFE

Kimberley Fyfe was born in Welland, Ontario and has lived in Toronto, Montreal and Los Angeles. She received an Honours degree in Art History and Theory at the University of Saskatchewan and was previously employed at Nouveau Gallery and MacKenzie Art Gallery.

Kimberley is an enthusiastic promoter and supporter of the visual arts in all media. She met Gina Fafard in the early process of developing her own art gallery and they combined forces to create Slate Fine Art Gallery.

GINA FAFARD

Gina Fafard was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. She studiedat Alberta College of Art and Design she went on to receive her BFA from NSCAD University. A Gold-smithing apprenticeship in Germany and a three year Artist in Residency at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto furthered her education. She returned to Saskatchewan in 2009 and spent the next few years working along side artist Joe Fafard in his studio. Noticing a lack of Gallery representation for local artists in Saskatchewan Gina organized a Pop – Up Gallery to help fill the void and curated an exhibition titled Everything in Between. The success of the exhibition had a domino effect and encouraged her to venture into a full-time gallery.  Many of the artists featured there are now represented by Slate Fine Art Gallery. Her love of art has found its place as a promoter of the many artists she has spent her life admiring and in the passionate search for new talent.
